Chernobyl by Qiyi He ’21

This is an icon similar to a style found in the Eastern Orthodox faith. I was reading about the Chernobyl disaster and wanted to make a piece honoring the liquidators who cleaned up after the disaster. The alpha, beta, and gamma signs around the central figure’s head refer to types of radiation.
